Working with Charities
KiddiVouchers - an ethical company
KiddiVouchers guarantees to donate at least 5% of profits to charities relating to children and childcare. We want to make a real difference to children, parents and childcare providers. If you would like to nominate a charity, please fill in the form at the bottom of this page.
As part of our ethical policy, our administration fees are much lower than other childcare voucher providers. Employers can save £1,000s every year by setting up a KiddiVouchers scheme or switching to KiddiVouchers. Click here for an employer information pack.
Daycare Trust
In September 2007, we helped Daycare Trust celebrate their 21st birthday, with a donation of £1,000. We made a further donation of £750 in August 2008. Joint CEOs, Alison Garnham and Emma Knights, said they were "absolutely delighted" to benefit from our support.
Daycare Trust is the national childcare charity, which works to promote high quality affordable childcare for all. We have found Daycare Trust to be an excellent source of advice for parents, childcare providers and employers. Their informative website contains information about current Government initiatives, as well as a host of interesting facts and figures about the cost of childcare.
CHILDREN 1ST
We welcomed the Highland Council to KiddiVouchers in August 2007 and, in recognition of our growth in Scotland, we donated £1,000 to CHILDREN 1ST. CHILDREN 1ST (the Royal Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children) aims to give every child in Scotland a safe and secure childhood. Their activities include supporting families under stress, protecting children from harm and neglect, helping them recover from abuse and promoting their rights and interests.
We continued our support of this fantastic Scottish charity in 2008, with a further donation of £750. Since then we have gained several more clients in Scotland, guaranteeing CHILDREN 1ST donations from KiddiVouchers for years to come.
Lou Lanos, National Corporate Account Manager at CHILDREN 1ST, says, "We are delighted that KiddiVouchers has chosen to support CHILDREN 1ST in Scotland. We rely on the generosity of the public and without the support of companies such as KiddiVouchers our services would close within months. The support of KiddiVouchers means that CHILDREN 1ST will be able to reach even more vulnerable and disadvantaged children across Scotland."
Acorns Children's Hospice
Acorns is one of the best known children's charities in our local area, with hospices in Worcester, Walsall and Birmingham. Acorns offers practical and emotional support to families facing very difficult cirumstances. We were keen to offer our support to this worthwhile cause, with a donation of £500 in 2008.
Mike Tague, Acorns' Regional Fundraising Manager says: "We are absolutely delighted that Kiddivouchers has so generously supported Acorns. We rely on fundraising for over 80% of our income. This donation will help us to continue our work supporting 600 life limited children and their families across the West Midlands."
Save the Children UK
Save the Children, well-known for helping children in areas of famine and war, also actively supports children who suffer from poverty in the UK.
In 2008, we donated £500 to support Save the Children's UK activities, helping some of our most vulnerable children to have a voice.
Jenny Paul, Community Fundraising Executive at Save the Children says: "We're hugely grateful that KiddiVouchers are supporting our work here and we thank them for their kind donation. The money raised will go towards our work in the UK, helping children out of poverty."
BBC Children In Need
Good old Pudsey! Surely one of the UK's best-loved charities, BBC Children In Need does outstanding work helping disadvantaged children to realise their full potential.
Each year, we run a parent satisfaction survey in aid of Children In Need. We pledge to donate £1 for every response we receive, and we're delighted with the results we've seen so far. Thanks to the parents who use KiddiVouchers, we've donated £1,750 to Children In Need over the last two years.
In our 2007 satisfaction survey, 99.4% of respondents said they would recommend us to their friends and colleagues. We thought that would be hard to beat ... but in 2008 we invited even more parents to take part, and 99.7% said they would recommend us. We'd like to thank everyone who responded for all their helpful and positive feedback.
